Mummy and Me – Yoga Inspired Playgroups

Generation Yogi’s Playgroup with a Twist combines the principles of yoga and playgroup to benefit both you and your baby in a welcoming, friendly environment. No yoga experience needed.

“Playgroup with a twist has been my first mums group, and bubs and I have really enjoyed it. We look forward to it every week. I find Yoga is starting to help with back and hip pain since carrying and birthing bubs. And bubs loves the singing and dancing.” Tara

Together with a group of mums and bubs from your community, you will be guided on an 8 week journey to:

  • Strengthen your body after birth
Through a sequence of targeted yoga poses focused on improving your pelvic floor and core abdominal strength and stretches to relieve tension in your lower back, neck and shoulders.
  • Share a bonding experience with your bubba
Through baby massage, action songs, socialisation, smiles and dancing, your bubba’s development will be enriched by being engaged and involved throughout each class.
  • Share experiences with other mums
With dedicated time each class to simply chat, offer tips and tricks, ask for advice or give us an update on your babies latest – teething, sleeping, eating.
  • Learn about the 8 limbs of yoga and how to apply them to your journey of motherhood
With a different topic each week you will be introduced to the 5 moral ethics of how we respond to the world around us, 5 personal observances around how we treat ourselves, the power of breath, the physical practice of yoga, mindfulness, focus and concentration, and meditation which, when practiced regularly brings inner peace.

“I look forward for my special one on one time with my youngest while working on myself.” Stephani
