Three days of 50’s Rock n’ Roll fun with live music in the heart of seaside Victor Harbor, on South Australia’s beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.
The Victor Harbor Rock ‘N’ Roll Festival boasts two outdoor stages (classic rock ‘n’ roll music on Warland Reserve thanks to 5MU, while Ocean Street and the Grosvenor Hotel stage is home to all things rockabilly), but the fun doesn’t stop there. Many of Victor Harbor’s venues come to life over the festival weekend with independently-run events and live music of their own.
There’s two full days of entertainment for the whole family across Warland Reserve, Albert Place, Ocean Street, Railway Terrace and surrounds. Go along for the day and check out a variety of new and second hand trade, memorabilia, market stalls, food vans – and of course, Shannon’s Show ‘N’ Shine featuring 200+ cars including classics, customs and hot rods.
Kids Zone
Right in the middle of Warland Reserve you’ll find the Kids Zone thanks to K & M Art and Craft Supplies. A colourful corner of the festival where the youngest rock ’n’ rollers can play, create, and burn off some energy between bands, activities include:
Lawn Games – Giant Jenga, noughts-and-crosses, quoits, bean bag toss and more. Perfect for friendly competition, silly challenges, and plenty of laughs.
Colouring-In Station – Kids can bring their own festival masterpiece to life with a range of colouring designs, plenty of coloured pencils, and the chance to take their artwork home as a souvenir of the day.
Face Painting – From rockstar lightning bolts to butterflies and superheroes, the face painters will transform little faces into festival works of art. I
Girdler Family Amusements – across the road to the foreshore, festival sponsor Girdler Family Amusements will once again be set up for the weekend. Expect all the favourites including dodgem cars, the tea cup ride, sideshow alley, and the ever-popular Big Wheel – perfect for a bird’s-eye view of the festival.
THINK! Road Safety SteamRanger Tickets
Thanks to THINK! Road Safety Community Grants Program and SteamRanger, discounted train services will operate throughout the weekend to help you travel safely to and from the festival.
