Melbourne Street Christmas Gnome Trail & Christmas Competition.
Discover and count all the Christmas gnomes hiding along Melbourne Street from Friday 28 November 2025, till Sunday 4 January 2026. These mischievous, bearded creatures have taken over the windows of shops, cafés and businesses along the street. You can sneak a peek at the gnomes any time – day or night.
Count the gnomes and enter online for your chance to win your own handmade Christmas gnome and $100 to spend at a participating business on Melbourne Street.
*Gnomes can be found on both sides of the street from the Post Office at 1/168 Melbourne Street to the Adelaide Chocolate School at 48 Melbourne Street.
Entries close on Sunday 4 January 2026 at 11.59pm ACDT *Terms and conditions apply.
A fun trail with a sense of discovery, young children will enjoy spotting the gnomes hiding in windows. The gnomes in the windows are handmade toys and created to appeal to children of all ages.
