Adelaide Thunderbirds Fan Day
The Adelaide Thunderbirds will take to the court at Priceline Stadium this Saturday 6 April 2019 against the Southern Force in a pre-season match that will offer Adelaide fans the chance to witness the 2019 Adelaide Thunderbirds team in action for the first time.
New international recruits Shamera Sterling, Maria Folau and Layla Guscoth will line up alongside home-grown talents Kate Shimmin, Kelly Altmann and Cody Lange for the Adelaide Thunderbirds. Southern Force, South Australia’s team competing in the Australian Netball League (ANL), will feature experienced ANL players, standout performers in the Netball SA Premier League, and 19 and Under state players.
Following the match, the inside courts of Priceline Stadium will transform into a hub of excitement for fans, who can meet the players, take selfies and collect their autographs. There will also be a range of free activities for the whole family. To add to the excitement, the 2019 Adelaide Thunderbirds captaincy will be announced on centre court.
The Priceline Pharmacy food outlets will be open throughout the entire day.
Program:
- 9:30 am | Doors Open
- 10:00 am | Adelaide Thunderbirds vs Southern Force take to the court
- 11:45 am | Post match activities and FREE family fun
Fan Village:
In this year’s Fan Village, fans can meet their favourite players, test out their netball skills with them, have a laugh and take a few selfies. The Adelaide Thunderbirds players will rotate through the activities so you will be sure to see all your favourites across the day.
The Fan Village will be located on the inside courts of Priceline Stadium, therefore attendees are advised that they cannot wear high heels.

Cost:
- Entry is $5 for all ages before 11am (3 years and under free)
- FREE entry is available after 11am for post-game activities
