Join the City of Mitcham to celebrate Australia Day on Thursday 25 January 2024 at Soldier’s Memorial Gardens in Hawthorn, located next to Mitcham Memorial Library on Belair Road.
The event will run from 5pm until 8pm and offers an evening of family friendly activities. There will be story time, engaging children’s activities, face painting, and entertainment throughout the night.
Enjoy an Aussie BBQ, witness a citizenship ceremony and applaud the recipients of the Citizen of the Year awards. Delight in the musical performances by Mitcham City Brass and desserts from around the world.
The event kicks off with a Welcome to Country ceremony. Best of all, everything is entirely FREE!
