Free bike education courses
Get on your bike and ‘Beat the Jam’ with a FREE bike education session.
With Clipsal lane restrictions and road closures beginning from 15 February until 10 March, delays are expected and if you’ve been thinking about saving time and riding your bike to work because of traffic congestion, now would be a good time to give it a try. If you’re not overly confident on your bike or riding through Adelaide’s traffic, a bike safety education course could help you learn how to cope.
Accredited trainers from Ride-A-Bike Right will give your bike an initial safety check and then you’ll learn:
- How to ride in traffic
- The correct use of gears
- Starting and stopping
- Bike handling and control
- Road rules
- Basic bike maintenance
The trainers will also take you on a guided ride around the CBD.
*Participants for both courses may borrow a bike and helmet if they wish
