⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Miss Almost 8
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Miss 4 (20 stars!)

@patch_theatre’s much-loved Me & My Shadow has been captivating audiences for 16 years – and here’s why!

We sent along Miss 4 and Miss (almost) 8 to put it to the test, and it passed with flying shadows…we mean colours.

The youngest sat entranced the whole show, while the eldest was laughing and exclaiming with equal parts amazement and amusement. 🤩

Full of clever physical theatre, playful humour and a little bit of magic, there were plenty of giggles, gasps and “Oh my goodness, what on earth is happening?” moments.

Don’t miss it - it’s perfect for ages 4–8 (but adults will love it too!) and it’s on @adelaidefescent - 15, 22 & 29 August 2026

🐸The giant frogs have landed at Port Adelaide!
Here’s our first look at these wonderful 8 neon creatures at River Night Walk. They are really cool and range from 2.2m - 6m in height, and up to 10m wide.
After dark this will transform into a glowing installation.

> Each frog, representing an endangered species, has a big sound button to press and listen to, plus some written info to learn about them.

> Look out for the EscarGlow giant colourful walking snails too with googly eyes.

> There are food trucks, market stalls, live music, the local eateries, fire pits, tables and chairs to sit at, workshops, and the kids can paint the street to contribute to the art work on the ground.

> The road is closed off for this FREE community event but please be aware that just beyond the lighthouse is the river and there’s no barrier or fencing along the wharf. Keep your young kids near you at all times.

These frog Night Walkers, are by the talented crew, @amigoandamigo and the event is a fab initiative by @cityofpae as part of @salafestival

It’s on this weekend for 3 nights only. Don’t miss it - all the kids were delighted by the frogs! ...

The new Elephants of Asia Visitor Precinct is a fantastic space with lots of viewing points, plus a fabulous playground as well.

One of our team visited the first day the precinct was open to Zoo members, but it was a bit rainy (we couldn’t wait)! It was lovely to visit again now that the elephants have settled in more. Thanks for having us visit Monarto Safari Park, we can’t wait to go again! ...
