Christmas at the Bay 2021

There might not be a pageant this year but the City of Holdfast Bay have lots on as a part of Christmas at the Bay.

Over two days there will be a variety of performances by concert bands, dance troupes, carol singers and much more. Jetty Road Glenelg will be bursting with Christmas spirit thanks to a variety of roving performances and activities. The day will start from 11am and continue until 4pm at Jimmy Melrose Park.

There’ll be floats from the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant on display and you can buy a real Christmas tree, and support the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Plus, a sausage sizzle from 11am – 4pm on the Saturday.

Santa’s Beach Cave:

Santa will be visiting the Bay. Head down to the main stage on Glenelg foreshore at 11 am to welcome Santa to the Bay before he heads off with Mayor, Amanda Wilson, around Glenelg and Brighton in his bright red convertible.

If you miss out on seeing him, there will be Santa’s Beach Cave open both Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 3pm for the kids to pass on their present requests. The Beach Cave will be at the Glenelg Town Hall with FREE tickets available on the day.

FREE tickets will be available from the ticket booth located just outside the Bay Discovery Centre under a marquee. It will open from 11am until 2.45pm.
