Rug up and head for the hills for school holiday fun at Cleland Wildlife Park.

Cleland Wildlife Park is a great place to explore these school holidays with a fantastic program of events. Explore the park with the ‘Mud Madness in the Animal World,’ self-guided trail, free with park entry. There’s also story time on the lawn and for children over 5 years old, check out the Wildlification programs, which are running all school holidays.

Self-guided trail

Join their ‘Mud Madness in the Animal World,’ self-guided trail. Find out what mud can be used for by animals in Australia and discover who even likes to eat it. A Mud Art Station will be available from 9:30am-3:30pm (Monday – Friday)

When: Saturday 9 to Sunday 24 July 2022
Cost: Free with Entry

Storytime on the lawn

Take your little ones to hear an animal story on the lawn and learn a new fact about one of our amazing Aussie animals.

When: Friday 15 & Friday 22 July 2022 | 11am (approx. 15-minutes)
Cost: Free with entry

Wildlification Programs

Junior Wildlifcation Half Day

Junior Wildlification is the program for you if you like adventure, the outdoors, native Australian animals, trying new things and meeting new people. Go and discover what amazing native wildlife you might be sharing your backyard with and ways to encourage them into your garden.

Age: 5-7 year olds
Duration: 9:30am-12:30pm (3 hours)
Cost: $31 (program fee), plus entry fee
Capacity: 10 participants
Highlights: Morning fruit, fun games and activities, park exploration including animal encounters.
Dates: Monday 11 & Wednesday 13 July, 2022 | Monday 18 & Wednesday 20 July, 2022

8+ Wildlifcation Full Day

Let Cleland ensure your kids have fun these school holidays with their full day Wildlification program (8+), jam-packed with fun activities while exploring Cleland Wildlife Park and their amazing resident animals. Get active, be hands-on and try new things.

Age: 8-13 year olds
Duration: 9:30am- 4:00pm (6.5 hours)
Cost: $70.00 (program fee), plus entry fee
Capacity: 15 participants
Highlights: Morning fruit, afternoon fruit, park exploration including animal encounters, games, scavenger hunts, themed activities and projects and much more!
Dates: Tuesday 12 & Thursday 14 July, 2022 | Tuesday 19 & Thursday 21 July, 2022

Finished your self-guided trail? Why not spend the rest of the day exploring the park.

Bring your own picnic rug and enjoy a picnic lunch amongst Australia’s most iconic animals, or grab yourself a tasty lunch at Cleland’s Barking Gecko Café.
