August is visual art month in South Australia! Since its inception in 1998 the annual SALA Festival has celebrated and promoted the diverse talents of South Australian Living Artists. SALA is an innovative open access visual arts festival presenting thousands of artists through unique collaborations and exhibitions in hundreds of exhibition spaces throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia.
Colour the Streets is a celebration of freedom and diversity through the expression of various art mediums including, music, screen printing and muralism. The inaugural event will be a feast for the senses featuring VANS the OMEGA painting live as the main attraction. Head on down to Beach Burrito Glenelg and witness some of Adelaide’s finest creatives doing what they love.
Come celebrate SALA with your favourite Mexicans as they close off the road for the first ever Colour the Streets Block Party.
The festivities include an outside seating area, live DJ’s, and live screen printing of a limited edition VANS THE OMEGA x Beach Burrito T-Shirt, which is also available to purchase on the day.
