Join the local community this weekend as they celebrate the official opening of the Cove Sports and Community Centre.
The Premier of South Australia, Hon. Peter Malinauskas, and Mayor Kris Hanna will come together to officially open the newly upgraded facilities on Saturday 3 August 2024. Go along for a free breakfast and coffee – plus, there will be come-and-try activities and face painting for the kids.
The event will take place from 9:30am until midday, with the official ceremony at 11am.
Stage 1 of the $5.75 million upgrade project includes a new netball facility with additional courts and the reconfiguration of the vacant BMX/soccer areas of the site to create a multi-sport field for cricket, rugby, soccer and community recreation.
