DinoFest Dinosaur Festival | Adelaide | 5-27 Apr 2025

DinoFest returns to Adelaide in April 2025.

Experience the ultimate dinosaur adventure and meet the new DinoFest dinosaurs along the amazing new Dino Trail at Victoria Park / Pakapanthi from 5-6 April, and continuing throughout the Easter school holidays from 12-27 April 2025.

This ultimate prehistoric adventure features over 30 incredible dinosaur species, including a walking Spinosaurus and twin Pachycephalosaurus making their first-ever appearance. Follow the brand-new Dino Trail and come face-to-face with life-sized walking dinosaurs like the Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and plenty of adorable baby dinosaurs. DinoFest also specialises in telling the fascinating story of Tyrannosaurs β€” from their dog-sized ancestors to the fearsome T. Rex β€” spanning over 100 million years.

It’s not just about seeing dinosaurs β€” you can touch, pat, and interact with these prehistoric giants! The Dinosaur Encounter and remarkable Dino Trail will captivate young minds while offering fun educational activities including:

  • 45 minute Dinosaur Encounter with roarsome walking dinosaurs.
  • Dino Trail with 30+ dinosaurs including a life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex.
  • Dino Dig β€” Unearth fossils like a real paleontologist.
  • Themed Arts and Crafts β€” Get creative with dino-inspired projects.
  • Feel a Fossil β€” Touch real dinosaur bones and step back in time.

The Dino Rangers will share fascinating facts, debunk common dinosaur myths, and tell their best prehistoric jokes (you have been warned!).

This event is ideal for families with children under the age of nine years old.
