Make your own Drainpipe Dragsters at Dock 2, Port Adelaide
Construct your own small battery-or-solar powered car (kits supplied), and compete against others on the multi-lane drainpipe drag-strip at Shed 13.
Trim your car for optimum performance, aligning axles and lubricating wheel bearings. Initial heats will be held in the large Shed 13 using battery power, and if the sun shines outside you may race there too using solar power.
Tours of the Clipper Ship are available with discount vouchers provided at the event.
Shed 13 and Dock 2 are wheelchair accessible, but there are stairs leading into the Clipper Ship. Portaloo toilet facilities will be onsite.
Tickets are $20.00 per child, with adults accompanying children admitted free. Bookings essential and can be made on Eventbrite.
