Father Christmas will be visiting Burnside Village in 2020
Father Christmas will be at Burnside Village once again for photos. He will arrive on 27 November 2020 and be there until Christmas Eve. The Santa area is located in the middle of the mall, right in front of ZARA. As with all visits to see the Big Man this year, online bookings are essential, and should avoid having to queue with long line-ups.
Visits with Father Christmas will be socially distanced – as you can see from pics below, toadstools for visitors will be placed a covid-safe distance away.
Burnside Village will also have pet photography sessions.
Sensitive Santa sessions will take place at special times without the hustle and bustle of the usual shopping crowds.
Dates for Sensitive Santa:
Wednesday 9 December: 5.40pm to 8.30pm
Monday 14 December: 5.40pm to 8.30pm

There are other opportunities for lovely Christmas photos you can take yourself around Burnside Village. The beautiful bauble pictured at the top is always a good spot, and the natural lighting here is great for photos.
There is also an extra photo opportunity this year in a Santa Sleigh – this is without Father Christmas. This will be from 1 December and available for both personal phone snaps, or professional photography sessions.
Please note that the usual annual brunch with Santa event won’t be happening this year.

If you’re not familiar with Burnside Village, it has a great Parents Room with a comfortable area for breastfeeding and facilities for families with little ones. Normally the water fountain in the courtyard has coloured balls for playing, but currently these are not available.
