Macca’s Footy Festival | Elder Park Adelaide | 9-12 Apr 2026
Located at Adelaide’s Elder Park, the 2026 Macca’s Footy Festival will once again feature the popular 150m long zipline over The River Torrens as part of the AFL’s Gather Round festivities.
The four-day festival will be full of free activities and entertainment for all ages, including:
- Fireworks Show – Halftime at Thursday Night’s Game
- Zip Line – everyday at the Play Zone, 10am to 7pm, subject to booking.
- Live Music – located at the Goal Square Stage across Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Fun for the Kids – games, styling, roving performer’s, kids entertainment and NEW AFL26 playing station
- Sunday Morning surprise visit from Bluey!
Macca’s Footy Festival Zipline
The zipline across the River Torrens will take you from the Macca’s Footy Festival at Elder Park, over the River Torrens and finishing on the foot bridge across from Adelaide Oval. Participants will be required to walk back over the footbridge to return to the start point and collect their belongings (5-10 minutes walk). If you know someone who is not participating in the activity, they recommend they take your belongings and meet you at the landing platform. This way you can go straight to the Adelaide Oval and watch the game!
This is a FREE experience with limited spots available and they expect it to be booked out.

All nine matches of Gather Round…A Festival of Footy will be shown live on the big screens, and AFL and AFLW players will be appearing throughout the festival to meet and greet fans.
