Celebrate the return of the Glenelg Christmas Pageant.
The Glenelg Christmas Pageant is a much-loved tradition, not only enjoyed by Holdfast Bay residents but visitors to the City as well. After a year away, the Glenelg Christmas Pageant is back in 2026.
Children and adults alike will once again line Jetty Road on Sunday 22 November 2026 to cheer and wave along with the fantastic floats, dancers and of course the man in red. There will be an opportunity to meet Santa afterwards and participate in kid’s activities.
Starting at 10.30am the pageant parade will take around one hour, then families are invited to continue the festive fun with a visit to Santa at the Bay Discovery Centre Gallery. Children and families can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes and capture a special holiday photo.
This cherished community tradition is a highlight of the Christmas calendar, bringing together locals and visitors for an unforgettable day of colour, entertainment and festive cheer in the heart of Glenelg.
Accessible Viewing Area
There will be a dedicated accessible viewing area along the pageant route for people who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. There will be an accessible toilet at this location with additional accessible parking.
Bookings are not required for this space but they ask pageant goers to please be respectful and allow the space to be used by people who require it.
