Showcasing the spectrum of diverse library services, Greenacres Library will fling open their doors for a whole lot of fun for all ages.
Take over the whole library, from the car park to the lawns as you join in free celebrations.
The Library will host The Art Bus – a fully equipped mobile arts studio, which travels across metro and regional South Australia and beyond to provide dynamic and innovative workshops for children, adults and community groups. They will be creating board games.
See their new community mural being painted and there will be giant games including chess, snakes and ladders or create your own board game.
With the aid of a Green Screen, immerse yourself in a Mario Kart video game. Check out the new technology, robots, 3D Printing, and more.
Why not select some new books for the library? Booked @ North Adelaide will be there with a collection of titles to choose from.
Plus test your skill on a nine hole mini golf course throughout the library, have your face painted or participate in Ancestry.com demonstrations.
Support the Gilles Plains Lions Club when you buy a BBQ sausage.
This is a free event open to the whole community. There’s no need to book, just join in on the day!
