Visit the National Railway Museum on the last weekend of the October school holidays for the annual Heritage Transport Expo.
This two day event will be held on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October 2024. All train (steam train BUB and diesel Redhen railcars) and Port bus trip rides are included with your admission ticket. There will also be historic vehicles on display each day.
You can now catch an Adelaide Metro train straight to the Port Dock with trains running every 30 minutes and pulling up at the National Railway Museum.
Highlights:
- Enjoy short trips around the Port on buses formerly used in metropolitan Adelaide in the 1980s
- Ride the Redhens and little blue steam engine BUB
- SA Ambulance and SA Police Historic Vehicles
- Woodville signal cabin open
- Stalls/displays from Maritime and Aviation museums and Clipper Ship Adelaide
- Catering on site
