The Cookie Dough Lab – CLOSED DOWN 8 Feb 2018
If your kids enjoy making homemade cookies, but spoonfuls of mixture tend to disappear rather than being placed on the baking tray, then perhaps you need to visit The Cookie Dough Lab!
The Cookie Dough Lab opened in Semaphore last week to rave reviews, timing their launch perfectly with the October school holidays. Their menu includes eye catching creations such as cookie dough milkshakes, cookie sandwiches, cookie dough bites and ‘sundoughs’. Designed to share, a ‘sundough’ consists of three scoops of any flavoured cookie dough, two scoops of vanilla flavoured icecream and topped with a choice of chocolate or caramel sauce and sprinkles.
The ‘doughwich’ creations are selling out each day as they can only make a limited supply per day due to the time and space it takes to prepare them. On the day we visited we arrived at 11am just as they opened hoping to try one, but unfortunately they were still being prepared and needed time to set. We will just have to try one next time.
We tried their Original Choc Chip cookie dough mixed with vanilla ice cream as well as a little cookie dough ball. With flavours such as Unicorn Caramel Fudge, Peanut Butter & M&M’s, Nutella & Oreo and Triple Choc there is something for everyone. There are also vegan options available.
The Cookie Dough Lab is a small family owned business and Adelaide’s original cookie dough specialty store. Their small yet fresh and funky interior space is welcoming with a relaxed and friendly vibe. The menu offers a variety of cookie dough delights, with or without icecream, and a variety of hot and cold drinks available to eat in or takeaway.

- Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 12pm – 9pm

You’ll find The Cookie Dough Lab in the Semaphore Splash Apartment Building next to Odeon Theatre.
