Jamestown Christmas Pageant, Markets and Magic Cave
The Jamestown Christmas Pageant returns on Sunday 6 December 2026, bringing festive fun and Christmas cheer to this charming Mid North town. A much-loved community tradition, the pageant transforms Jamestown’s main street into a colourful Christmas celebration, with spectacular floats, festive characters, music and entertainment for the whole family.
The parade begins at 5.30pm, with local businesses, community groups and families coming together to celebrate the magic of Christmas. Families can soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the community spirit that makes the Jamestown Christmas Pageant such a special annual event.
Traditionally, celebrations have included market stalls, children’s activities, face painting, Christmas carols and a visit from Father Christmas, with the popular Magic Cave adding an extra touch of Christmas magic. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a country Christmas celebration and make some special family memories.
