Kid’s Fringe at the Hart
A FREE family fun day filled with kid’s entertainment, workshops, roving performers, open mic opportunities and kid’s markets – at Port Adelaide’s iconic Hart’s Mill with its exciting destination playground and fabulous Wild at Hart open air Sunday market with their fabulous food and produce stalls, with additional Kid friendly stalls on the day.
The day will also feature Fringe show Little Busker Brilliance –
Want to run away to the Circus? Now’s your chance! These interactive workshops teach juggling, spinning-plate, hula-hoop, flower-sticks, and more!

The whole family can join in with face painting and balloon sculpting, meet all the cuddly characters and learn how to weave and play air guitar. Circus and Hip Hop workshops will take place throughout the day and be entertained by the Binnanedi Boys dance troupe.
Face Painting (10.30am to 4pm)
Have your face painted in whatever creative design you would like. From Princess to Tiger to Spiderman to Fairy designs and many more. Hand or cheek designs available as well as glitter tattoos!
Balloon Sculpting (12pm – 2pm & 2.30pm – 4pm)
Watch as balloons are blown, twisted and turned into all sorts of amazing shapes like swords, dogs, flowers, hats and many more!
Roving Characters
Meet Cool Bear, Fairy Princess, Digger Dog and Bella Butterfly as the rove around Hart’s Mill with free giveaways. Have your photo taken with these adorable characters!

Come and join in these FUN sessions and share your love of singing or have a go at rocking out with some air guitar!
Circus Workshop (10am-11am, 11.30am – 12.30pm, 1.30pm – 2.30pm, 3pm – 4pm)

In the Flour Shed:
Music Shows (10.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm)
Interactive music shows where the children are involved in singing, movement, puppetry, musical instrument play, bubble making, scarf dancing and giant parachute play!
Art and Craft Activities (10am – 11am, 12pm – 3.30pm)
Come and join in the fun of making your own wand, masks and puppets. Try your hand at some drawing and origami too!
Making Musical Instruments (11.15am – 12pm)
Design, create and build your own home made musical instruments such as shakers, drums and guitars.
Weaving Workshop (12pm – 3pm)
Beading Workshop (12pm – 3pm)
Dress Up Box (1pm – 1.30pm, 2.30 – 3pm)
Did you wear acid wash denim, ra-ra skirts & leg warmers? Remember songs like Oh Mickey, Jesse’s Girl, The Final Countdown? Then Kids Just Wanna Have Fun is for you and your kids!!. Enjoy a small preview of the full live on stage musical at Kids Fringe in the Hart. Dancing, music, singing and lots of fun – for parents as well as kids! The best fun you’ve had since the 80’s!
