Kites, Shells & Sand on Henley Beach during the July school holidays.
These July school holidays take the kids down to Henley Beach South in front of the Henley Hotel for a fun day of kites, shells and sand!
A range of activities will be on offer to make the most of a winter’s day on the beach including:
- make and fly a kite
- walk a mandala
- make some mosaic art
- beach combing
- nature scavenger hunt
- enjoy some seaside tunes
Feel free to take along a picnic or buy some takeaway from one of the local traders along Henley Beach Road on your way. There are coffee shops within walking distance and toilets nearby for your convenience.
There is a ramp on the esplanade along with a newly built shelter that will be utilised on the day. The ramp leads down to the beach for pram and wheelchair access.
This free event is hosted by Free as a Bird Kites and the City Of Charles Sturt.
