The Lavender Federation Walking Trail in South Australia is a 325 km walking trail from Murray Bridge in the South to Clare in the North.
The Lavender Federation Trail (LFT) celebrates 100 years since the 1901 Federation of Australia and the memory of Terry Lavender OAM, whose vision established the trail from Murray Bridge to Clare.
A linear walking trail through diverse countryside on the eastern flanks of the Mt Lofty Ranges, the trail begins at Murray Bridge and takes you through the Barossa, Goyder, Mid North and the Clare Valley regions to Clare.
The townships you will pass through include Murray Bridge, Tungkillo, Dutton, Eudunda, Waterloo, Manoora, Mintaro, Watervale and Clare.
The Lavender Federation Walking Trail is maintained by volunteers. You can become a member for only $10 or donations are welcome to help with the maintenance of the trails You can find out more here.
