Minifigs at Botanic Garden
We visited the Adelaide Botanic Garden, on a warm sunny Autumn day, and were reminded just what a beautiful spot this is – where you can play, explore or just relax.
The older kids were kept busy kicking their soccer and footballs, while the younger ones took to foraging and building a ‘shelter’.
There were birds to spot and other crawly things to find.
We were inspired by Hello Ben Teoh’s Lego MinifigMarch project, where Ben Teoh took some Lego mini figures on adventures around the city of Adelaide, and uploaded photos of them on Instagram. So, we took our own Lego minifigs to the Adelaide Botanic Garden and photographed them having fun.
After showing the kids the idea with the photo above, they took my phone and off they went to photograph the minifigs on their own.
The photos below are what they produced themselves. This is a fun little activity which you could do anywhere – whether you are visiting a park, on holidays, sightseeing or exploring your own backyard or home. You can upload to Instagram if you like or make your own photo album or photo book.
