The Lions Christmas Spirit Event is all about The Lions Club and the community coming together for a fun afternoon, to decorate cakes and spread Christmas cheer and kindness.
This year, the event will be held on Saturday 7 December 2024 at the North Adelaide Community Centre. The Lions Christmas Spirit Event was first held in December 2021. After a very successful event, it was decided it would become an annual event.
Each person attending receives four Lions mini fruit cakes to decorate. Throughout the afternoon, participants will learn tips and tricks, and have their decorated cakes judged for the ‘best decorated cake’ prize (with a category for adults and one for children). All decorations and equipment is supplied but feel free to BYO.
At the end of the event, all cakes are packed up ready to be delivered to the Hutt Street Centre and Fred’s Van, spreading Christmas cheer and kindness to people less fortunate.
All proceeds from the day (tickets, raffles, etc.) will go towards purchasing Christmas gifts for children less fortunate, which will be donated to, and distributed by, Puddle Jumpers and Backpacks 4 SA Kids.
Tickets:
$15 per person.
Tickets must be purchased before the day and are limited so make sure to book early.
