Little Tikes on Bikes | Ridgehaven | Oct & Nov 2019

Little Tikes on Bikes

Take your little one(s) for a fun filled 2 hour session at the Road and Cycle Safety Centre.

Take along your child’s bike and helmet as they’ll be able to navigate the mini-road network – with workable traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, a train crossing and round about. Minimal safety information will be delivered as this session is more about children gaining confidence riding bikes in a safe, enclosed space so parents can closely keep an eye on their children.

Participants can BYO any snacks and drinks needed, plus there will be a kitchenette facility to heat bottles up/boil the kettle. Once booked in, you can also come and go anytime within the 2 hour time-slot so there’s no need to stay for the whole time if you can’t.

Suitable for children 0-4 years and their parent/carer.

Bring your wheels, helmet, drink and snack. Children must wear closed in shoes – no thongs or sandals.

Sessions are held on the 4th Wednesday or 2nd and 4th Friday of the month during school terms. There are no sessions during December 2019 and January 2020.

  • Sessions held on the 4th Wednesday – Cost $5 per family for the term (2 sessions)
