Celebrate Italy’s world-class food and wine, art, culture and traditions at the 2025 Adelaide Italian Festival.
This November, the Adelaide Italian Festival is set to turn South Australian venues, big and small, green, white and red in a celebration of Italian culture. One of the largest open access events in the Southern Hemisphere, they will deliver an impressive program of more than 60 events that showcase the vibrant Italian way of life.
In a first for the Festival, a truly immersive ‘Festa in the Plaza’ will take over Festival Plaza, for an all- inclusive, all-encompassing 2-day opening event (Friday 7 and Saturday 8 November 2025) that will bring authentic Italian food and beverage vendors, music, dancing, design and culture all to the table.
The Opening Event will showcase a curated Italian offering which will spread across three designated areas. The free event will allow guests to wander through and enjoy ‘Via del Gusto’ (The Taste Lane), ‘Piazza Centrale’ (The Heartbeat) and ‘Osteria Terrazza’ (Terrace Kitchen) – with every twist and turn offering new and old Italian fare favourites and a Nonna approved family friendly festival atmosphere.
The 2025 Signature Events expand well beyond the Opening Event and moving Journey Mass. The much-loved La Grande Gita will take place ahead of the Opening Event on Sunday 2 November 2025 at Serafino Wines. Participate in a short or long ride amongst the beautiful surrounds of McLaren
Vale and dive into delicious eats from the pop-up Italian inspired village pre and post ride. It’s one for the whole family!
A not-to-be-missed screening of ‘House of Gucci’ will take place at Palace Nova Eastend on Tuesday 11 November 2025. This ticketed event will invite guests to enjoy drinks and canapes, live Italian music and a glamour filled atmosphere. A perfect mid-week outing for any fashion enthusiast and cinema lover.
Pranzo in the Piazza presented by Guardian is a long lunch taking place on Sunday 16 November 2025 at Roma. If you love good Italian food with curated matched wines, live music and great conversations – this is for you. Take the opportunity to dress up and relax into the afternoon as they celebrate the Festival coming to an end.
For those who want to support their local community club, restaurants, art houses and sport clubs – there are daily events taking place across the State.
