Celebrate Italy’s world-class food and wine, art, culture and traditions at the 2026 Adelaide Italian Festival.
This November, in its 50th year, the Adelaide Italian Festival is set to turn the East End green, white and red again in a celebration of Italian culture. One of the largest open access events in the Southern Hemisphere, they will deliver an impressive program of more than 60 events that showcase the vibrant Italian way of life.
Festival goers will take to the streets of the McLaren Vale for La Grande Gita presented by San Remo on Sunday 1 November 2026 and can select one of four leisurely routes. It’s an opportunity to experience the pristine surrounds and enjoy some traditional Italian fare. If cycling isn’t your thing – skip the ride and enjoy a day out at Serafino with the family and feast until your hearts content while you watch the rider’s cycle past.
Take a trip down memory lane on Saturday 14 November 2026 as the Adelaide Italian Festival returns to the East End. Close your eyes and picture the streets of Italy with pop-up Italian food vendors, entertainment, live music and plenty of activities for the kids. Let the colourful and lively Italian atmosphere transport you to a place far away.
Highlights for Families:
Sunday 1 November 2026: La Grande Gita at Serafino McLaren Vale – FREE to attend and enjoy the food and drinks and atmosphere even if you haven’t registered to bike ride!
Saturday 14 November 2026: Adelaide Italian Festival in the East End (11am – 11pm). A great option to feed the kids and whole family after the Christmas Pageant with live music, food and drink vendors, kid’s activities and all the Italian flair.
Friday 6 November 2026: November Moonlight Market 5:30pm onwards at Hamilton Terrace, Paradise
Saturday 7 November 2026: Cicchetti at the Markets 11am – 12:30pm (Adelaide Central Market’s Community Kitchen) – live cooking demonstrations with the wonderful Chef Luca Guiotto
Sunday 15 November 2026: Italian Festival celebration at Cafe Va Bene, Campbelltown – pizza, pasta, Italian music, dancing and more.
The 2026 Italian Festival will run for three weeks, celebrating everything we all love about Italian culture, bringing generations together and sharing it with the whole community.
