Mr Snot Bottom’s Stinky Silly Show
Presented by Danielle Hoban
Le Cascadeur | The Garden of Unearthly Delights
16 FEB – 17 MAR (SAT & SUN ONLY & MON 11 MAR) at 3 PM (50 MINS)
Hysterically deeeesgusting comedian Mr Snot Bottom returns to Adelaide with his hit-show from 2012 after sell-out shows and rave reviews at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The Peter Pan of all things gross, the Willy-Wonka of all things weird, Mr Snot Bottom delivers a full-throttle stand-up/theatre show based around the things kids love: boogers, bottoms, pop-offs and smells! Mr Snot Bottom’s roller-coaster of weirdness features terrible tales such as the great ‘bum-rubbing festival,’ gross characters like ‘Derek the hanky’ and lots of multimedia and audio visual effects including his much revered F-Art Gallery.
We saw him perform at the Pipsqueaks Market in 2012 and the children thought he was hilarious. Some comedians who normally play to adult audiences put on a children’s show as an extra act but spend half the time saying jokes that are more directed to the Adults. Mr Snot Bottom is not one of those. He knows his younger audience well and know how to make them laugh. We all thought he was pretty funny but don’t go if fart and boogie jokes offend you.
A stand up of ten years experience, Trenwith has performed in many children’s stage and TV shows including Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Ben Ten The Live Experience and as a super hero that visits patients at the Melbourne Children’s Hospital.
“A well-crafted and hilarious comedy for kids of all ages that was delivered with style…”
– Australian Stage
“Had the kids in stitches…parents won’t feel left out.”
– Herald Sun* * * *
“Kiddy stand up at its best.”
– Adelaide Advertiser* * * *
“Unashamed and brilliant.”
– Broadway Baby, UK
