Pick Your Own Apples during the school holidays in the Adelaide Hills at Plummers Pick Your Own.
Autumn is the perfect time to take a drive into the Adelaide Hills and pick some beautifully sweet, crisp and crunchy Pink Lady apples fresh from the trees. You can pick your own apples on Saturdays and Sundays throughout April and the first weekend in May, as well as Anzac Day.(follow Plummers’ social media pages for updates).
Apple picking is suitable for all ages and a great activity for families and kids to learn about where apples come from. The Plummers’ property is situated in Forest Range, a lovely part of the hills just 20kms from Adelaide.
Entry Fees:
- Adult Entry – $5
- Child Entry – $2
No bookings required. Take your own bag to collect the apples (or purchase one at the orchard).
School Holiday Open Dates:
- Saturday 13 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
- Sunday 14 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
- Saturday 20 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
- Sunday 21 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
- Thursday 25 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
- Saturday 27 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
- Sunday 28 April 2024 | 10am – 4pm
Apple Prices:
Apples cost between $3.50/kg to $5/kg depending on how much you pick.
Different apple varieties are available as different times during the season.
They also have some delicious home made jams, juice and dried fruit from local growers, plus iced cold soft drinks available.
There are complimentry picnic rugs to use to have a picnic while enjoying this beautiful 5th generation orchard. (Don’t forget to pack your own picnic!)

About Plummers
Plummers have owned the land at Forest Range for 120 years and current owners Gavin and Sheree are 5th generation growers. Along with their children Levi, Indy and Halle they grow apples and cherries on their 20 acre property.
