45th MRASA Toy Run & Fun Fair
The MRASA Toy Run occurs annually on the second Sunday in December. The MRASA organises and funds this event with incredible support from volunteers, sponsors and organisations who are proud and willing to be involved.
The assembly at Victoria Park will be the normal format again this year. Vinnies will organise the the major toy collection point to be at Victoria Park for your convenience and to reduce the risk of damage to your toy donations occurring on the long ride to Callington.
The ride with Santa will leave Victoria Park at 11am and ride to Callington.
Follow Santa from Victoria Park to Wakefield Rd, Hutt St, Glen Osmond Rd, then onto the South Eastern Freeway. Take the Callington turn off and turn right onto East Tce, turn left onto the old Princes Hwy, then left onto Callington Rd and the Callington Oval complex.
Callington – Family Fun Fair
This year at the fun fair, the focus is on ride groups and bike club displays, a motorcycle Show and Shine, as well as food stalls, trade stalls and live music from local Callington celebrity, Kaileb Rothwell Music. At Callington, a toy collection point will also be available.
About the Toy Run
The MRASA aim is to hold a community event to celebrate motorcycling with a strong focus on assisting the children of families in need during the festive season. They have traditionally chosen St Vincent de Paul as a beneficiary of the thousands of toys and gifts which are distributed to families in need.
It’s more than a ride…. It’s for the kids.
In the spirit of the day, please take a gift for a child or a monetary donation, so Vinnies can give, on your behalf, to South Australian children in need this Christmas.
