Myer Centre Christmas Market
This festive season, Myer Centre Adelaide are holding their first ever Christmas Markets hosting a range of amazing local South Australian cheese, wine, gin and chocolate producers.
Held in Myer Centre Adelaide’s ground floor atrium, the Christmas Market will run from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 December and feature award winning South Australian companies including Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, with their handmade, artisan chocolate; Kris Lloyd Artisan and Woodside Cheese Wrights’ artisan, hand-crafted, locally sourced milk cheeses from the Adelaide Hills; Utonic’s healthy, natural tonics; Sparkke and their award-winning 100% natural brews; and innovative and flavoursome gin from Never Never Distilling Co.
The Christmas Market will give shoppers the chance to sample amazing local, artisan produce and to find the perfect Christmas gift while supporting iconic South Australian businesses.
Fans of gin will be excited to see Never Never Distilling Co offering tastings of their extensive range of gins, including the Southern Strength Gin that was named World’s Best Classic Gin at the World Gin Awards earlier this year and the Juniper Freak Gin, named Best Australian Navy at the same awards.
Cheese lovers can visit Woodside Cheese Wrights and Kris Lloyd Artisan, who will have their award-winning selection of cheese including the Native Range, ‘Persian Feta’, and runner-up in the 2019 Worldwide Cheese Awards ‘Anthill’, a Chevre covered in Australian Native Green Ants and South Australian Lemon Myrtle.
For chocolate enthusiasts, Barossa Valley Chocolate Company will showcase their first ever Christmas range which has over 80 products including a Father Christmas, Christmas trees and more, all meticulously hand-finished by the chocolatiers in their state-of-the-art Barossa kitchen, using chocolate from the Daintree, Belgium and beyond.
Fresh from the launch of their new cans, The Sparkke Change Beverage Company, a female-founded and led social enterprise, will be showcasing their 100% natural beer, cider and hard lemonade which advocate for social change, along with their limited-edition Great Dames Gin made in collaboration with Applewood Distillery.
Finally, for health and fitness fanatics, Utonic will be offering tastings of their Organic Zero Sugar Kombucha, Natural Tonics and Sparkling Prebiotic. The kombucha and prebiotic range pair well with spirits such as gin, creating a guilt free cocktail this Christmas.
In addition to the unique South Australian produce on offer, Myer Centre’s specialty stores will have a huge range of Christmas specials, making it the perfect place to tackle your Christmas Shopping this year.
