Australia’s first National Day of Real Play

Nature Play is partnering with Omo’s Dirt is Good campaign to establish Australia’s first National Day of Real Play! It’s aimed to be a great annual day for families all around Australia. To celebrate, a free event for families in Adelaide will be held on Sunday 5 June, 10am-3pm at Bonython Park.

Go along and enjoy ‘real play’ activities.

This will be a fantastic day for families to enjoy ‘real play’ activities like:

  • building a cubby
  • kite making and flying
  • mud play
  • scavenger hunts
  • rock climbing
  • orienteering, and more!

Go for a little while or bring a picnic and stay for the day! The Kiosk will be open and food and coffee trucks will be on site.

Whether it’s rain or shine, be part of this special celebration event on Sunday 5 June 2016, and join your children as they experience loads of fun, piles of dirt and buckets of hands-on, real play action. You might want to consider bringing a change of clothes! Remember, the dirt will wash out, but the memories will last forever…..

The event is free to attend but to help the organisers plan for the day please register your attendance on the Nature Play SA website here.
