Point Malcolm Reserve Playground
Point Malcolm Reserve playground on Military Road in Semaphore Park has play spaces designed for kids of all ages.
There are climbing frames with a double lookout below joined by a net crossing and big slide. Plus a huge flying fox, nature play areas and equipment for younger kids with some shade sails.
BBQ facilities with table and bench seats and a shelter above – great for families to stay a little longer.
There is climbing equipment suited for older kids as well as a basketball court and tennis courts. Grassy areas surround the play space and there is also new exercise equipment.
It’s right next door to the Surf Life Saving Club where you will find toilets.
There has already been concerns about the need for crossing facilities on Military Road to make it safer for families to cross the busy road – this is something that they are addressing. Stay tuned for more about this.
Please note that the playground is not fully fenced.
