💜 Adelaide’s prettiest springtime stroll?

The wisteria arbours at @botanicgardenssa shine in spring and are getting close to their purpley best.

Just comment: purple
We’ll send you all the details.

These shots were taken on Wednesday. The tunnel closest to Digger’s was a little bare, but the tunnel closest to the kiosk (where these photos were taken) was looking stunning, with cascades of purple flowers. 😍

The gardens are definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a free outing. We also spotted plenty of critters, including an eastern rosella, butterflies and a bunny. 🐰

Do you know a child (or adult!) who would love running through a wisteria tunnel? ...

So good to catch up with friends over good food and great coffee by @caparezzacinquecento.
Our friends from @adelaidehillsdairies brought along their new Swiss & Oats for us to try, and we all agreed they’re delicious!

If you haven’t come across Swiss & Oats yet, they combine creamy yoghurt with oats, chia seeds and real fruit, in an easy grab-and-go tub. And with school heading back, here’s a little tip – we think they’re the perfect addition to the school lunch box. We love that they’re made right here in SA using at least 95% Australian ingredients, including locally grown oats and easy to find at your local Foodland.

Big thanks to everyone today. 🫶🏻 ...

This Adelaide café has been doing brunch right for nearly a decade so it was about time we checked it out.
Go hungry… the servings here are BIG!

@ponyandcole delivers a menu of comfort food brunch made with local SA products.

It’s been awarded SA’s Best Casual Dining and Best Café Dining at the 2026 Restaurant & Catering Awards
(and Australia’s Best Breakfast Café at the 2023 Awards).

There’s great coffee roasted nearby from Patio, plus every other type of drink with iced drinks, juices, smoothies, milkshakes, Matcha, soft drinks, teas, beer and even cheeky cocktails.

What we tried and loved:

>Sweet Potato Rosti
>Honey Chipotle Chicken Burger
>Brisket Sando
>Steak Sandwich
>Kids’ pancakes with ice cream
(They also do a different special buttermilk pancake creation every month).

Drinks:
>Bueno Matcha
>Strangelove Yuzu Lemon
>Vanilla milkshake
>Biscoff Iced Latte

They’re well known by locals having been on Manton Street, Hindmarsh for nearly 10 years, but worth the drive too. We’ll definitely be back again!

We explored the Mannum Dock Museum, where the kids followed a seek-and-find trail through interactive displays, model boats and fascinating pieces of River Murray history – before climbing aboard the historic PW Mayflower for a cruise along the river.

The 90-minute paddle wheeler cruise was a real highlight, taking us past the beautiful Ponde Cliffs with plenty of river scenery and wildlife along the way.

A great one to add to your list for your next Murraylands day trip – and leave time for a play at Mary Ann Reserve while you’re there.
