North East Community Day
North East Community Day (NECD) is an annual FREE ENTRY community event unlike any other in the north eastern suburbs.
The event will have a market atmosphere with low cost entertainment options (most are FREE) for families. There are over 40 market stalls providing opportunities for local service providers to interact with their community and local small business operators to sell their merchandise (mostly hand-made). North East Community Day is a fun and enjoyable experience for people of all ages, ethnicity and abilities.
Activities:
- 30+ market stalls
- Coffee van
- Sausage sizzle
- FREE bouncy castle
- Face painting
- Giant lawn games.
- Paw Prints Trail – free showbag to the first 300 primary school aged children (5-13 years), collect free item for bag along the paw prints trail. Get your card stamped at each paw print site and go into the prize draw for a $30 ultimate student gift card.
