Outdoor Movie Nights | Marion | Dec 2014 & Jan 2015



The Marion Cultural Centre in Oaklands Park will be screening outdoor movies at sunset on selected Friday nights during the summer school holidays.  Bring along chairs or a picnic rug and enjoy a family film under the stars.  Signatures cafe will be open for a drink and a bite to eat.

The Grinch becomes annoyed with the out-of-control Christmas festivities in Whoville.  But after the Grinch conspires to deprive the Who’s of their favourite holiday he learns that the spirit of Christmas goes much deeper.  104 minutes.  Rated PG.

Shakespeare’s famous play is updated to the hip modern suburb of Verona still retaining its original dialogue.  Live music from 5.30pm.  Film 120 minutes.  Rated M.

Hook  |  Friday, 23 January 2015  |  8.30pm – 10.55pm

When Captain Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy.  144 minutes.  Rated PG.
