Well known for their popular Sunflower Festival, Shimmering Pines Farm in Tarlee will be holding ‘Pick Your Own Flower Sessions’ again this Summer.
Shimmering Pines Farm are offering a ‘Pick Your Own Summer Blooms Experience in January 2025 during the school holidays.
Tickets will be released one week in advance and they will update the tickets for the upcoming week every Wednesday (this is due to the unpredictability of Mother Nature!).
You will need to register for updates via the Shimmering Pines Farm website as they release tickets to their email subscribers first.

Private group sessions are available to book for a minimum 10 people. If you are looking for a unique outdoor activity to compliment a wine tour or group day trip, please contact the farm directly to arrange a visit – jane@shimmeringpines.com

In December their main event of the year is the Sunflower Festival where they welcome thousands of visitors to the farm to experience the breathtaking three acre field of beautiful Sunflowers.
They were devastated to share the news that they lost their entire crop of sunflowers in 2024 to the drought and hot weather. But thankfully they still have their Summer Blooms in their smaller irrigated picking rows to share.
