Prospect Gardens/Narnu Wirra Park Playground | Nailsworth | Review

Nestled in the backstreets of Nailsworth you’ll find Prospect Gardens/Narnu Wirra Park and a fantastic playground, perfect for playdates, parties or a quick run around after school.

Review by Sharon Harrington

The Prospect Gardens playground features a variety of play equipment to suit both toddlers and primary aged children, including swings, slides, sandpit, climbing frame, monkey bars and climbing ropes.

The swings cater for both toddlers and older kids who are able to swing by themselves.

There is a toddler-friendly climbing structure with a couple of slides and a climbing rope. It’s large enough for little ones to explore, but not so large to worry the on-looking parents!

There is also a bigger climbing structure for the older kids, along with a taller slide.

There is a little nature play area seating area with walking beams and stepping logs.

There are some monkey bars and chin up bars for taller children.

The surrounding facilities are also handy and include tennis courts, basketball courts and even a local Petanque Club. This is great if you have older children who need a little more than a playground; they can have a hit of tennis while the littlies hit the sand pit and swings!

We love this area for being fully fenced, with toilets and lots of shady trees. There is also a covered seating area, bbq, and a couple of bench-style tables and chairs. It’s an ideal venue to host a birthday party too!

Benches are located with a view of both the tennis courts and playground area.

The toilets are located inside the playground and are well maintained.

Location:

East Terrace, Nailsworth.  Parking is available along side streets.
