The Road to Christmas
On Friday 14 & Saturday 15 December 2018, the Road to Christmas comes again to Seeds Uniting Church at Aberfoyle Park.
Seeds Uniting Church is hosting ‘the Road to Christmas’ once again, a free community event that provides an opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of first century Bethlehem recreated live in the car park of the Seeds Uniting Church at Aberfoyle Park.
The event features Roman centurions, Herod, Jewish dancing, tax collectors, beggars and lepers, royal wise men, shepherds and of course, Joseph, Mary and Jesus. A large set in the car park ‘sets’ the scene as first century Bethlehem. There will be first century food to try and the opportunity for children to have a go at weaving, pottery and woodwork.
Storytellers continuously share the story of Christmas in the nativity – hear the story in the stable with the manger, hay bales, Joseph, Mary & Jesus.
Gates open at 7pm until 9pm.
