Santos Festival of Cycling 2022 DeTours Experience
Santos Festival of Cycling will welcome the DeTours experience back in 2022 for the people of South Australia, heading to the Adelaide Hills for the Men’s Westpac Stage 2 and McLaren Vale for Be Safe Be Seen Stage 3.
The DeTours will be held on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 January 2022. Please note all attendees must be 18 years or older to attend both events. A wonderful event for parents looking for a day out to enjoy the Santos Festival of Cycling in an adults only environment.
DeTours presented by Seppetsfield Road Distillers: Adelaide Hills
Meet at the city of Adelaide Festival Village for a ride to Mount Lofty, where Men’s Race Director, Stuart O’Grady will provide an exclusive briefing ahead of an action-packed day at the Men’s Westpac Stage 2.
Watch the men kick off the race at the start line before moving to Barristers Block for a long lunch, accompanied by a journey through vineyards and a farm tour, settling in with some canapés and drinks.
Lastly, enjoy a wine tasting and sabrage experience at Sidewood Estate before heading back to the City of Adelaide Festival Village.

DeTours presented by Seppetsfield Road Distillers: McLaren Vale
Meet at the city of Adelaide Festival Village for a scenic ride to the start line of McLaren Vale, meeting Stuart O’Grady for an exclusive briefing ahead of the highly anticipated 113.2km race.
From McLaren Vale, event goers will be chauffeured to Penny’s Hill to enjoy wine and bocce, while the race passes by.
Willunga Hill is the final stop, hosted with an Italian style long lunch with the race on the big screen, before the riders travel past in person.
