Science Alive! returns to the Adelaide Showground in November 2021
Enjoy awesome family fun at Science Alive! There will be interactive displays for kids, plus spectacular science shows and performances for all ages. It’s a great way to discover how science and technology influences our everyday lives.

- Australian Dalek Builders Union
- Slime-Making
- Questacon exhibits
- Naturally Wild crystals, minerals, fossils, shells, sea-life and bugs for sale.
- Techspace Learning – An interactive exhibit with robotics displays.
- Switched on Kids educational toys
- Marine Discovery Centre
- Bugs n Slugs
- South Australian Museum – fossil digging pits
- Hackerspace Adelaide – life size K9, retro video games, 3D printers, air cannon and lots of other creations.
- Junior Field Naturalists SA
- Green Adelaide
- Australian Society for Microbiology
- Micro-X – cold cathode, carbon nanotube (CNT) emitter technology demonstrated via a display module.
- Adelaide Robot Combat
- Seashells
- Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries
- OzGrav – chat to researchers about the laser interferometer (we nicknamed it AMIGO) that works just like LIGO to detect gravitational waves. You can also check out their virtual tour of LIGO in Minecraft.
- Academy of Interactive Entertainment – 3D animation, game design and visual FX educator.
- Lockheed Martin – professional flight simulators showcasing Lockheed Martin and Sikorsky Aircraft including the famous F-35, MH-60K Black Hawk and many more!
