Experience South Australia’s finest seafood with the return of the Sea to Shore Glenelg Seafood Festival in October.
South Australia’s favourite seafood festival in Glenelg, Sea to Shore is back for 2024. For the first time, the event will take place over a whole weekend on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October.
Glenelg’s foreshore will become a seafood hub, with well-known South Australian restaurateurs working with SA producers to showcase sustainably sourced local seafood dishes. A demonstration kitchen will give guests the chance to see live cooking demonstrations and hear from a variety of producers.
Festival ambassador, Adelaide restaurateur and MasterChef royalty, Laura Sharrad, has curated the event with some of South Australia’s best restaurants.
Newcomers include Duncan Welgemoed’s Africola, Holdfast Bay local, Oliveti, as well as South Australia’s oldest oyster farm, Franklin Harbour Oyster Co who will be providing their high-quality oysters from their mobile oyster shucking station, expanding this year’s vendors to its largest yet.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a range of live cooking demonstrations and producer panels, learning the art of cooking seafood and discovering each species’ journey from ocean to plate.
Put the dates in your diary and stay tuned for more information to be released closer to the event.
