All Aboard SteamRanger’s Ghost Train Movie Night
Travel the rickety rails from Mt Barker Railway Station to Strathalbyn for a night of frights and entertainment. This family friendly movie night will be sure to get you into the Halloween spirit.
Departing 4:15pm Saturday 30 October, your journey will take you from Mt Barker to Strathalbyn and back. Aboard the train, enjoy light entertainment and drinks for sale in the buffet car before they pull into Strathalbyn Railway Station.
Once in Strathalbyn you will hop off the train to board the bus to your next destination. Enjoy and sit back with your buffet style dinner and dessert before settling in to watch Hotel Transylvania (2012).
After the film as you board the train heading back to Mt Barker the sun would have set, making for an eery ride in the dark home. If you peer out into the dark you may just catch a glimpse of a ghost floating alongside the train….
The train will, hopefully, return to Mt Barker Railway Station at around 9:10pm.
Ghost Train Movie Night Experience
- Tickets include return train ride, 2 course dinner, drinks, live entertainment and movie
- Dress in your best Halloween costume to make the night extra special
- The event contains no horror or gore themes
- This is an alcohol free event
Enjoy watching ghosts, vampires and gooles dancing up and down the train as you watch the rolling hills and open paddocks begin to turn dark from the setting sun.
Hotel Transylvania is rated PG (parental guidance is recommended for viewers under 15 years of age).
