Christmas Garden Display
The Christmas Garden is a series of 6 exquisitely made, life-sized sound and light scenes that take you on a journey through the Christmas Story.
It starts with the Garden of Eden, travels through the main events surrounding the Birth of Christ and ends with the Empty Tomb. There are big books with facts to help you understand the scenes, papier-mâché animals, baby chicks in the manger scene, giveaways, things to find along the way and friendly guides who you can talk to if you want to know more.
People who visit the Christmas Garden find it is a beautiful and peaceful way to stop and reflect on the real meaning of Christmas.
Created in 2015, The Christmas Garden was first made and set up by artists in Mawson Lakes to help tell people about the Biblical Christmas Story. Every year, they try to add something new to the scenes.
Opening night is Saturday 17 December 2022 from 5 pm. It runs every night up until Christmas Eve.
This is a free event that includes a free sausage sizzle on Sunday 18 December 2022. Go along for some caroling on this night too!
