Presented by Gospel City Church and supported by the Salisbury Council, The Christmas Garden is an amazing display of 5 life sized scenes from the original Christmas story.
Most of the characters and animals were hand-made by artists living in the Salisbury and Mawson Lakes areas. So far, The Christmas Garden has attracted up to 1,000 visitors each year – this is their fourth year running.
Because they are so passionate about sharing and preserving the Christmas message, it has been their goal to keep all activities FREE to everyone who visits The Christmas Garden.
A visit to the garden includes:
- free entry into the Garden with free children’s activities & giveaways
- free sausage sizzle or veggie pattie
- free coffee from Coffee By the Beans
- free entertainment & Angels in the Rafters
- free outdoor games
- free entry into the colouring competition
- free Saturday night outdoor movie on Saturday 15 December from 8.30pm featuring the family movie “The Star” by Sony Pictures.
Opening Times:
Friday 14 & Sunday 16 December 2018 ( 6pm-10pm) & Saturday 15 December 2018 (1pm-10pm).
*Private group bookings are available during the day on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th December 2018. Sensory free and special needs can be considered to the best of their ability. Last year they opened the garden up to families and children from Autism SA with fantastic outcomes. The Christmas Garden is indoors and air-conditioned. There are toilet facilities available. Drinks will be available for sale. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
