The OG Wiggles Reunion Tour – Review 2022

What an amazing reunion concert by The Original The Wiggles – so good to see Greg, Jeff, Murray & Anthony, along with all their friends, back together on stage performing all the songs we know and love.

About 15 years ago we took our now Miss 17 to her first Wiggles concert – was so much fun re-living our Wiggles days together again. Many concerts later, and after a bit of a break, the show tonight in Adelaide was just as good as always. They sure know how to please a crowd – all the favourite songs were there from Rock-a-bye Your Bear, Hot Potato, Big Red Car, Fruit Salad; we rocked it out with Dorothy; had fun with Captain Feathersword; woke up Jeff; shook our sillies out, and had a ball.

After doing two kidsโ€™ shows during the day, this 15yrs+ show was a long day for most of The Wiggles crew who came on stage at 9pm. We assume the late start was maybe so that Anthony (the only original Wiggle still doing the kidsโ€™ shows) could have a decent nap in between the concerts, but were concerned if Jeff would stay awake for it!

It was a hugely energetic show with a lot of dancing – they did not hold back and frankly we were worried for Gregโ€™s heart. However they all seemed to cope with all the jumping around, and probably secretly wished they had never made up so many songs with actions that involved so much jumping around, had they known they would still be performing them live on stage 20 years on.

They were gracious and generous as ever with their time – stopping to read signs that fans had made; accepting kind roses for Dorothy; Jeff taking the time to have a photo with a fan who had a pic with every other Wiggle but him.

It was just like old times but weโ€™ve never seen such an animated Wiggles crowd, fuelled with alcohol (instead of milk) and living their best life, rocking with the OG Wiggles on a Saturday night.

It was good old wholesome fun and definitely a night to remember. We had a blast – it was so much fun! Who knew weโ€™d be rocking the Wiggles with our teen, 15 years after her first concert! Thanks for the memories OG Wiggles.
