FREE Modbury Touch a Truck event at Civic Park.
Kids can get up close and personal with their favourite trucks, heavy machinery and all things “motoring” to see how they work. Held in Civic Park at Modbury, the family-friendly event will feature City of Tea Tree Gully vehicles, garbage trucks, emergency vehicles and lots more for kids to see and ‘touch’.
Food vendors will be at the event to cater to lunch and snack needs. Parking is available in the Council and library car parks.
Quiet Hour:
‘Quiet Hour’ will be held from 2pm – 3pm, with no horns or sirens. There may be a high number of attendees so expect there to still be excited small people, noise and high activity around the event site during quiet hour. A sensory tent will be available next to St Johns for the duration of the event, for those seeking a low-sensory space equipped with ear muffs and sensory toys.
Please note: Staff are unable to help children in/out of vehicles. It is the parent or caregiver’s responsibility to do so.
This is a free event, registration or tickets are not required.
