Unley Spring Fling

Celebrate spring and all things gardening at the City of Unley’s Spring Fling. This FREE community event features live music with great food, activities, plant stalls and a great community atmosphere. It will be held in the beautiful Fullarton Park on Sunday 3 November from 10am to 3pm.

Expect lots of interactive activities, gardening inspiration and sustainability education:

• Plant and homewares marketplace curated by the Herb Society of SA.
• Interactive stalls and activities by Green Adelaide, Beekeepers Society of SA, Birds SA, Unley Voices for Climate Action and more.
• Try your hand at plant propagation by seed and cutting with Yates and Mitre 10 Barrow & Bench.
• Take your gardening questions and problems to the gardening experts for advice and have your secateurs sharpened.
• Unley Gardener’s Plant Rescue, located on site, will open for a plant sale from 10am – 12pm. Rescuing no longer wanted plants from across Adelaide, this group raises funds for a range of charities and have a wonderful selection of unique and mature plants for purchase.
• Kids – make your own nature crowns and sunflower seed bombs with Nature Play SA, go on a Green Adelaide treasure hunt, and learn how to make your own nature seed packets to take home.
• Plus – a Herb Society raffle with wonderful prizes, and lots of gardening giveaways!

Activities for Kids

Food & Drink

Food and beverage vendors will provide tasty treats for everyone, including barista made coffee. Unley Rotary will be cooking chicken and veggie burgers, and the Country Women’s Association are offering savoury and sweet scones and home-made honey joys, also available to take home from their trading table.
