Victor Harbor New Year’s Eve Celebrations 2021

Join in the free fun family entertainment on Warland Reserve in Victor Harbor and enjoy the kid’s early fireworks at 9:45pm, followed by a midnight fireworks spectacular!

Warland Reserve, Victor Harbor, will host their biggest night of the year on New Year’s Eve.  Starting from 7:30pm, there will be plenty of fun family entertainment, with Mr Oopy providing laughs for the kids (and kids at heart), carnival rides for the thrill seekers, mini golf fun and party band Everybody Talks grooving the night away.

Presented by City of Victor Harbor and major sponsor Girdler Family Amusements, the early show fireworks starts from 9:45pm followed by a midnight firework spectacular to wrap up 2021 and bring in 2022.

2021 Program:

  • 10.00pm Party Band ‘Everybody Talks’
  • 12.00am Midnight Fireworks

Food available inside the event from The Causeway Cafe, Seaside Fish and Chips Victor Harbor, Harborview Donuts and Strawberries Galore Victor Harbor.

Road Closures and Security

Road closures and security guards will be in place around the event site for safety of visitors.  For further information on road closures please visit www.victor.sa.gov.au/roadclosures

Parking

Limited parking options are available immediately surrounding the event, with road closures in place for the event.  Recommended parking locations are at the Woolworths Victor Central Shopping Centre, Stuart Street, McKinlay Street.

Public Transport

Taxi Services will be in HIGH demand on New Year’s Eve, and they recommend you plan your transport to and from the event in advance to ensure safe passage home.

Steamranger Heritage Railway, South Australia Steamranger Cockle Trains run from Goolwa – Middleton – Port Elliot to Victor Harbor.  

  • Train departs Goolwa for Victor Harbor at 8.30pm
  • Return train departs Victor Harbor for Goolwa at 12.30am
  • Bookings available on 1300 655 991 (Mon-Sat) 9am to 5pm or at Goolwa, Pt Elliot and Victor Harbor on operating days.
  • Tickets will be available from Goolwa station from 7.30pm on the day

Public bus services are limited in Victor Harbor and it is recommended you seek alternative transport options.

NYE Celebrations are a drug and alcohol-free event.  Dry zone restrictions apply throughout Victor Harbor over New Year’s. 
COVID Safe Event – To ensure that they can continue bringing events to the community, they ask that everybody follows Covid-19 safe practices.

In accordance to SA Health advice, masks will be mandatory to enter the event and must be worn for the duration of the event (unless a medical exemption applies or whilst eating and drinking).
