Yarn Bombing Day and Play Street

Yarn Bombing Day & Play Street

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield plan to transform Pateela Street into a colourful streetscape wonderland for everyone to enjoy and explore.

Two free workshops were held in the lead up to this event to teach the basics of yarn bombing so that Pateela Street could be closed to traffic and transformed into a play street on Saturday 25 September.

The day will include games, face painting, hopscotch and more. Children can play and everyone can enjoy spending time with neighbours and friends. Colourful yarn bombing displays will be installed on all of the trees for a colourful Spring display.

The event will run from 10am until 1pm and is free to attend.
